To me, it's necessary to be multi-faceted and interpersonal in order to understand the world, those who inhabit it, and myself better. I take pride in unraveling the complex, boring problems that no one wants to tackle but everyone wants solved.
I’m grateful to be in a profession that combines my career and passion for advocating for those with marginalized identities, much like myself.
I spent the first five years of my career designing kids toys, event, finance applications, microservices monitoring, and cloud infrastructure software before transitioning to web accessibility (a11y) design. I graduated Stanford University in 2014 with a BS Engineering, Product Design and a minor in Theatre and Performance Studies.
Outside of work, I occasionally moonlight as a costume designer for productions and stretch my creative muscles through dance and performance.
Design with conviction, not con ficción.
Dare to fail, and fail again.
Be someone, and do something.
